Permanent Roofline Lighting in Rowlett, TX
Rowlett sits on the shore of Lake Ray Hubbard, east of Dallas, and much of the city is a short drive from the water. Lakefront and lake-view homes are seen from the back as much as from the street, and a lit roofline shows up a long way across the lake at night.
Away from the shoreline, Rowlett’s established and newer neighborhoods are full of homes that look great lit up for the holidays and every night in between.
Wind off Lake Ray Hubbard
Homes near open water take more wind than those tucked inside a neighborhood, and clip-on strands are the first thing to blow loose. Permanent lights sit inside a track fastened to the house, so they stay where they belong.
Lighting the lake side
We can light the sides and back of the house too, so it looks finished from the water, the patio and the street. Any part of the roofline with a solid edge to mount to can be included.
If your neighborhood has an HOA, check its rules on exterior changes before we install.

Rowlett permanent lighting questions
Can you light the back of a lakefront house?
Yes. We can light the back and sides as long as there’s a solid roof edge to mount to. We plan the full layout with you at the design visit.
Will wind off the lake damage the lights?
The lights sit in a track fastened to the house, so they hold up to wind far better than clip-on strands. Severe weather like hail is a different story, and we can repair damaged sections if it happens.
